More recently, he has publsihed in the European Heart Journal on the effects of Covid-19 infection on the heart . His current ongoing research interests includ the use of cardiac MRI and coronary physiology for the assessment of angina, coronary microvascular dysfunction and scar following heart attack.
Dr Kotecha received his MBChB in 2007 from Leicester Warwick Medical School, PhD in 2020 from University College London and also has an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy (2002). He completed his specialist training in cardiology in North West London in 2019..
