He received his medical degree from Lund University, Sweden in 1993 and completed his specialist training in Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in highly acclaimed medical centres in the UK, Czech Republic and Sweden. He completed a training fellowship in Microsurgery at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Taiwan and the Microsurgical Training Center at Christus St Joseph Hospital in Texas, USA.
