About
graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1999 before pursuing orthopaedic surgery training with the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, becoming an accredited specialist in 2010.
Dr Gupta went on to complete further upper limb surgery training and embarked upon a hand and upper limb fellowship at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. He also gained knowledge and surgical abilities in shoulder and elbow disorders whilst working at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in London where he was later named The Calvert Fellow within the Shoulder Unit. Dr Gupta has also spent time as a visiting fellow at the Institut de la main (hand surgery) in Paris and completed the AO Foundation upper limb masters and hand/wrist masters course in Switzerland.
