Dr Iraj Ahmadi is a fully qualified specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon. After graduating from Monash University medical school, Dr Ahmadi pursued a career in surgery. After completing a rigorous selection and training process, Dr Ahmadi was awarded recognition as a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr Ahmadi's further training has involved completing a Master of Surgery, looking at improving the surgical outcomes of complex microsurgical procedures for cancer and trauma reconstruction. Dr Ahmadi has maintained professional development, not only presenting ongoing research at international meetings and conferences but also teaching anatomy and supervising surgeons in training.
Dr Ahmadi is passionate about all aspects of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and enjoys having a broad scope of practice. Dr Ahmadi has experience working as a consultant plastic surgeon performing complex head, neck and breast cancer reconstruction as well as general plastic and hand surgery. Dr Ahmadi has also completed further aesthetic surgery training to provide an extensive range of procedures for patients. Dr Ahmadi is dedicated to building positive therapeutic relationships with patients to provide the best possible care in all aspects of their treatment.
