About Filippo Rambelli:
Filippo Rambelli is a GOsC-registered osteopath with an extensive background in musculoskeletal health, sports injuries, and manual therapy. Originally from Italy, Filippo moved to London at the age of 20 and has since gained qualifications in various fields, including osteopathy, traditional Chinese medicine, and personal training. His diverse training allows him to offer a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on the body’s adaptability and potential for recovery.
Filippo began his career in fitness and rehabilitation in Italy as a fitness instructor in 2011. After moving to London, he worked as a personal trainer at Pure Gym and Energy Fitness, where he gained valuable experience in physical training and rehabilitation. His passion for learning led him to pursue a Master's degree in osteopathy at the University College of Osteopathy, where he developed a comprehensive understanding of both structural osteopathy and the biopsychosocial model of care.
Filippo’s hands-on experience includes working in central London as an osteopath, treating a wide range of conditions from acute injuries to chronic pain. He is skilled in managing musculoskeletal issues such as low back pain, neck pain, shoulder injuries, knee and wrist problems. He has also worked with patients with complex conditions, including fibromyalgia, stroke recovery, post-surgery rehabilitation, and even coma recovery. His expertise lies in delivering manual therapy alongside tailored exercise and stretching protocols, helping patients integrate treatments into their daily lives for long-term relief and mobility.
Filippo’s approach to healthcare is strongly patient-centred. He is passionate about educating his patients, helping them understand their bodies, set realistic health goals, and overcome physical barriers to achieve optimal well-being. His personal experience with sports-related injuries gives him a unique empathy and insight into effective pain management and recovery strategies.
Filippo is keen to continue learning and expanding his skills in sports medicine and academic teaching. His future aspirations include travelling the world to practise osteopathy and eventually opening his own clinic in his native Italy. He also hopes to work with charity organisations that deliver osteopathic and healthcare services to underprivileged communities globally.
Personal Interests and Hobbies:
Outside of his professional practice, Filippo enjoys an active lifestyle, with a love for the outdoors. Whether trekking through Richmond Park, cycling along the Thames, or exploring the countryside, Filippo thrives on staying active. He has a rich sporting background, having participated in martial arts, water polo, free climbing, crossfit, and triathlons (especially Ironman events). In the future, he aspires to take part in extreme endurance challenges like ultramarathons.
In his downtime, Filippo enjoys cooking authentic Italian cuisine and pairing it with fine wines. He is also an avid traveller, with a particular fondness for exploring the beautiful seaside locations of Italy, where he reconnects with family and friends. A strong advocate of holistic well-being, Filippo applies his own strategies for health, incorporating stretching, nutrition, and breathing techniques into his lifestyle.
