In 2010, he successfully completed his training, and in 2015, he became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Brincat is a dedicated educator. He actively contributes to medical education, mentoring junior doctors and undergraduate students as a faculty member at the Simulation Lab at St George's Hospital, an honorary senior lecturer, and an examiner for undergraduate students at St George's Medical School.
Dr Brincat's leadership extends beyond his clinical practice. He served as the Care Group Lead for Acute and General Medicine from 2019 to 2021 in his Trust. Moreover, he played a pivotal role in establishing the AKI clinic service at St George's Hospital, showcasing its positive impact on patient care at national and international conferences.
With a wealth of experience, Dr Brincat offers comprehensive advice in nephrology, covering diverse aspects such as acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, haematuria, proteinuria, hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetic kidney disease, polycystic kidney disease, and glomerulonephritis.
