About Dr Peter Kabunga
Dr Peter Kabunga, Consultant Electrophysiologist and Cardiologist, currently works in the NHS at the Darent Valley Hospital and King's College Hospital. He is a very experienced cardiologist with a wealth of experience in electrophysiology. Dr Kabunga began his medical education at St George's Hospital Medical School, qualifying in 2001 before moving to the Royal Free Hospital to do his junior medical training. He then undertook his specialist training in cardiology at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. He developed his cardiology knowledge further by undertaking training abroad in Australia - a graduate diploma in Cardiac Electrophysiology, as well as a 2-year fellowship focusing on Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology. During his training period in Australia, he was awarded the best presentation award at the ANZ ECG & Arrhythmia Symposium in Sydney. Additionally, He was awarded the Young Investigator Award by the European Society of Cardiology. He is a fully accredited physician in cardiac electrophysiology, by the British Heart Rhythm Society.
