About

Dr Anne Ringle Griguer is a Consultant Cardiologist experienced in all fields of cardiology and specialised in heart function, heart valve diseases and cardiac imaging (echocardiography, stress tests, cardiac CT). She is invested in cardiovascular prevention, carrying out heart screenings and using digital technologies to facilitate early and accessible diagnosis.

She undertook her medical training in France, working for 10 years in large teaching hospitals and research teams in Marseille (APHM), Paris (Diderot) and Lille (GHICL and CHRU Lille, ranked in World's top 100 and France's top 3 Hospitals).

She later studied the effects of diabetes on the heart at Imperial College, working alongside cardiologists and diabetes specialists at Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals and undertaking cardiac CT training from experts at Guy's Hospital in London.

Her NHS practice is based at West Herts Hospitals NHS trust where she led the heart failure service accross the hospital, the community and the virtual heart function hospital. She is also involved in the cardiac valve clinic, managing patients with heart valve diseases.

Dr Griguer has completed an MSc and a PhD in Cardiology. She was awarded a research grant from the French Federation of Cardiology for her research in the fields of heart valve disease and exercise echocardiography.

She combines her knowledge of multiple healthcare systems to provide holistic and personalised care, taking time to explain the disease, treatment and lifestyle strategies, and involving her patients in the decision-making.

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
