Dr Andrés Herane-Vives is a London-based Consultant Psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience specialising in adult mental health, particularly stress-related conditions, mood disorders, and adult ADHD. He holds a Medical Doctor degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (2004), specialising in General Adult Psychiatry from the University of Chile. He did an MSc and a Phd in the neurobiology of mood disorders from King’s College London. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London, within the Faculty of Brain Disease.
Dr Herane-Vives is widely recognised for his compassionate, patient-centred approach. He provides a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard and supported, focusing on deeply understanding each person's unique background. This insight forms the foundation of personalised treatment plans, empowering patients to regain control and improve their quality of life.
In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in education and research. He serves as a visiting lecturer at UCL’s Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience as well as at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London.
