About
Dr. Navarro graduated from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2002. His early surgical training was completed in the North East, with further training in Yorkshire and the East Midlands. He later completed a 12-month fellowship in the HPB and Liver Transplant Unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Dr. Navarro holds a PhD and is an established research scientist, having authored 31 peer-reviewed publications to date.
With extensive experience as a consultant, Dr. Navarro has achieved excellent results in both routine operations, such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy (keyhole gallbladder removal) and hernia repair, and more complex specialist HPB procedures. He has performed over 2000 gallbladder removal cases with an impeccable track record, having not encountered a single case of bile duct injury.
