Kingly House

Kingly House is a residential Neurological Rehabilitation Centre designed for adults with conditions such as brain injuries, progressive neurological conditions, sensory impairment, or those requiring a slow rehabilitation service. The centre is based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, and offers 17 bedrooms (16 single-occupancy and one bet sit apartment), each with accessible en-suite facilities. There is also a communal dining room, a therapy room and therapy kitchen, as well as an occupational therapy kitchen and a talking therapies room for use by the onsite occupational therapist. In addition, residents have access to a large garden complete with a patio area.The highly trained team at Kingly House use the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework, which allows individuals to improve their quality of life and to improve behaviours of concern. Staff work closely with service users in a supportive environment to enable them to build confidence and independence in a way that is personalised to each individual. Kingly House is located within a vibrant market town which has excellent transport links so that residents are able to easily access the opportunities outside of the home as well as within it.
