Hakkında
Dr Zainul Aabideen is a Senior Consultant in Paediatric Haematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation with more than 25 years of international clinical experience across the United Kingdom, India and the United Arab Emirates. He is recognised for his expertise in the management of complex paediatric blood disorders, childhood cancers and stem cell transplantation.
He has undertaken advanced specialist training at several leading UK institutions, including The Royal Marsden Hospital, University College London Hospitals, Imperial College London, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and Alder Hey Children's Hospital. His fellowship training included advanced paediatric bone marrow transplantation and paediatric oncology.
Dr Aabideen currently practices at Burjeel Medical City, where he provides specialist care in paediatric haematology, oncology and bone marrow transplantation. He previously held consultant roles at Tawam Hospital and several UK tertiary centres.
He led the team that established the UAE’s first paediatric bone marrow transplant programme and founded the Emirates Paediatric Haematology & Oncology Conference and the Emirates Paediatric BMT & Gene Therapy Congress.
Dr Aabideen is actively involved in clinical research, medical education and international collaboration, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations in paediatric oncology and transplantation. He also holds a postgraduate certificate in Medical Education from the The University of Manchester and contributes extensively to specialist training programmes in both the UK and UAE.
