He further developed his expertise through two upper limb fellowships in complex upper limb reconstruction and sports surgery at King's College Hospital and St George’s Healthcare, two of the busiest trauma centres in the UK. Additionally, he undertook a standalone trauma fellowship, focusing on complex trauma reconstruction in general and upper limb trauma.
Mr Antonios later was awarded the British Orthopaedic Association travelling fellowship, during which he visited the Mayo Clinic in the USA, and the EFORT travelling fellowship in Switzerland—both world-class centres at the forefront of upper limb surgery.
Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Antonios has led various research and quality improvement projects in the field of trauma and orthopaedics. He also holds professional memberships with the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, the British Society for Surgery of the Hand, and serves as a committee member of the orthopaedic section in the Royal Society of Medicine.
