Toni Agbaniyaka is an integrative therapist at Nightingale Hospital in London. She has over six years of experience supporting clients with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic attacks, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), interpersonal difficulties, stress, and work-related stress.
Toni holds an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and a BA in Psychology. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Her approach combines person-centred counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and she also draws on psychodynamic principles where relevant. Toni has provided CBT within an IAPT service, supporting individuals with anxiety, trauma, and mood disorders. She has delivered long-term counselling through the Mind Mental Health Service and the Camden Listening and Counselling Centre (CLCC), and has also supported students as a counsellor in higher education.
In addition to clinical roles, Toni has worked with various corporate organisations, delivering in-person and online short-term therapy to employees. She now leads her own counselling practice alongside her work at Nightingale Hospital.
