Dr Verghese has performed over 1,000 procedures and is experienced in vaginal hysterectomy, pelvic floor repair, sacrospinous fixation, urethral bulking, autologous fascial sling procedures, and minimally invasive interventions such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She also undertakes urodynamic investigations, outpatient cystoscopy, and bladder Botox injections for overactive bladder.
She completed senior training at Birmingham Women’s Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary, enhancing her expertise in continence and complex laparoscopic surgery. Dr Verghese holds a PhD from the University of Birmingham, awarded for NIHR-funded research on pelvic floor health, and has presented her work at national and international conferences.
