About Taylor Gibney
Taylor Gibney is a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the CSP and HCPC. She graduated from the Masters of Physical Therapy Program at the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 2018. For five years, she worked as a Private Practice Physiotherapist in Vancouver, Canada, specialising in MSK (musculoskeletal) injuries, osteoarthritis education, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. Taylor has expertise in a wide range of areas including dry needling, bike fitting, and a strong background in exercise programming from her work as an exercise physiologist with the Canadian Military. She uses a combination of skills, including massage, manual therapy, dry needling, and exercise prescription, to help her patients regain function and reduce pain. She recognises that rehabilitation often requires a multifaceted approach and provides a safe and comfortable environment for her patients. She has a particular interest in working with a range of different patients including athletes, seniors in the community, and pre and postnatal women. Taylor plans to expand her knowledge by taking post-graduate courses in women's health and rehabilitation pilates in the near future. In 2022, Taylor moved to the UK and fell in love with Bristol. She enjoys long-distance running, exploring the outdoors, backcountry hiking, snowboarding, coffee, and international travel.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
