Dr Tara Logan Buckley is a Chartered Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in mental health assessment, intervention, and behaviour change. She is based in private practice, where she works with children, adolescents, and adults, including individuals with additional needs. Dr Buckley holds a B.A. (Hons), a Higher Diploma in Psychology, and an M.A. in Applied Psychology from University College Cork, alongside a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Trinity College Dublin. She is currently pursuing a postgraduate qualification in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Colorado, which she expects to complete in May 2024.
Dr Buckley has worked across private and public mental health services, forensic and educational settings, and charitable organisations, supporting clients with complex psychological and emotional difficulties. Her expertise includes treating depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and personality disorders.
Dr Buckley specialises in assessing neurodivergence in young people and adults. Diagnosed as neurodivergent herself later in life, she brings personal insight and empathy to her practice. She adopts a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirmative approach, ensuring her clients feel supported, valued, and understood.
Through a safe and respectful environment, Dr Buckley helps individuals explore their neurodiverse identities, empowering them to thrive in their personal and professional lives.
