About Dr Tanja Kuczinski
Tanja Kuczinski is the owner of Southwest Chiropractic Clinic. Her journey into chiropractic care began following a car accident, during which she experienced a whiplash injury. Witnessing the transformative power of chiropractic treatment in alleviating her neck pain and headaches, Tanja decided to start on a path to help others find relief from their discomfort. In pursuit of her passion, Tanja pursued her chiropractic education at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, University of Glamorgan, graduating in 2004. Over the years, she has developed a special interest in providing care to pregnant women, babies, and children, although she has extensive experience in treating patients of all ages. At Southwest Chiropractic Clinic, Tanja employs a diverse range of treatment techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. These include traditional chiropractic methods like the diversified technique and gentler approaches such as the activator technique. She also incorporates Western medical acupuncture, myofascial trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and kinesiology taping, among others. For paediatric patients, Tanja employs gentle techniques such as the 'touch and hold' method and cranial sacral therapy. Committed to upholding professional standards, Tanja is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is an active member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association. With her expertise, compassion, and dedication to patient well-being, Tanja continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those she serves at Southwest Chiropractic Clinic.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
