Dr Sunita Gurnasinghani

Dr Sunita Gurnasinghani is a dedicated paediatrician specialising in the care of infants, children and adolescents, with a strong commitment to improving health outcomes and quality of life for children with diverse needs. She currently practises at Sydney Adventist Hospital and The Kidzz Practice, where she is known for her compassionate, family-centred approach to care.

Dr Gurnasinghani completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Mumbai, India, in 1997. After relocating to Australia, she obtained her Australian Medical Council Certificate in 2011 and went on to complete Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Paediatrics and Child Health in 2018.

She brings extensive experience in general paediatrics, alongside subspecialty expertise in neonatal intensive care, developmental and community paediatrics, and clinical genetics. Dr Gurnasinghani has particular experience working with neurodiverse children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.

Her clinical philosophy centres on a holistic, systemic, and multidisciplinary approach, aiming not only to support each child’s medical needs but also to empower and guide families through their care journey.
