About Dr Stuart McLaren
Professional Career Dr Stuart McLaren has worked in various disciplines in medicine and surgery over the years. At Vermilion, he undertakes surgical implant consults and surgical implant placements. He has been a practice owner since 2008 and worked in Emergency Medicine at the same time for several years. He has travelled extensively to develop his understanding and skills in dental Implantology and is always striving for the best clinical outcomes for his patients. Academic Career Dr Stuart McLaren graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1999. In 2001, he attained the MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He then studied Medicine at University of Dundee and graduated MBChB in 2005. He has been involved with Postgraduate and Undergraduate teaching over the years and is a former examiner for the MFDS exam for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He was awarded the Membership to the Royal College of Emergency Medicine in 2017. Dr McLaren was a Clinical Lecturer in Medicine in relation to Dentistry at Glasgow University for several years until 2022 when he returned to full time private practice to focus on implant dentistry.
