Sonja Bass is an accomplished physiotherapist and clinic director with nearly three decades of experience. Since graduating in 1996, she has built a career working with athletes at every level, beginning with 12 years in professional rugby at Bath RFC, where she developed deep expertise in injury prevention, management and rehabilitation.
From 2008 to 2018, Sonja provided physiotherapy support to Great Britain’s national teams through the English Institute of Sport—now the UK Institute of Sport—working with a wide range of elite athletes including track and field competitors, Modern Pentathletes, swimmers, skeleton athletes, judo players, gymnasts, netballers and women’s rugby. Her involvement in international training camps and competitions has given her valuable insight into the demands of high-performance sport and the strategies required to keep athletes healthy, resilient and performing at their best, even when far from home.
Whether supporting professional rugby players, Olympic hopefuls or dedicated recreational athletes, Sonja brings exceptional clinical skill, a deep understanding of sports performance, and a genuine commitment to helping each individual achieve optimal health, recovery and long-term success.
