Ms Sonal Rathod is a highly qualified Optometrist. After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2013, they spent a number of years practising Orthoptics in the UK. During this time, they worked as a Lead Clinical Tutor, teaching and mentoring undergraduate Orthoptic students and pre-registration Optometrists.
They have a particular interest in the investigation and management of complex ocular movement disorders and children with amblyopia and strabismus. They are highly experienced in working with children of all ages and learning abilities.
As a skilled practitioner, Ms Rathod has worked as part of large teams of specialised Ophthalmologists. Their experience includes primary vision screening, paediatric and adult ocular motility and botulinum toxin clinics, assisting in adjustable strabismus surgeries and supporting surgical plans for pre-operative assessments.
