About Mr Simon Howarth
Mr Simon Howarth is a Consultant Neurosurgeon based in Nottingham, with a wide range of experience in advanced neurosurgical techniques such as epilepsy surgery, paediatric tumour surgery, paediatric CSF diversion procedures and endoscopic techniques and adult complex spine work. Simon gained his medical qualifications from Cambridge and Oxford University, and went on to gain dual fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons, during which he trained in paediatric neurosurgery and complex epilepsy surgery. He also gained experience in minimally invasive keyhole surgery during his Australian fellowship. Since completion of training, Simon was appointed Consultant at Nottingham University Hospital.
