About Mr Simon Abbott
Simon Abbott is a Level 5 Massage and Soft Tissue Therapist at Gecko Clinic, with extensive experience working in multidisciplinary clinics. A member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage, Simon combines massage with a range of manual therapy techniques, including Rocktape, Myofascial Release, Kinesiology Taping, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation. Before qualifying as a therapist, Simon spent 30 years serving in the Armed Forces and the Fire Service. At Gecko Fitness, Simon delivers tailored sports deep tissue massage therapy designed to relieve muscular aches and pains, support injury recovery, and promote relaxation. Each treatment begins with a detailed consultation to ensure a personalised approach, supported by a multidisciplinary team of sports medicine and registered healthcare professionals. Outside of work, Simon enjoys family life, outdoor pursuits, coaching volleyball and calisthenics, bringing a practical understanding of body mechanics to his therapy practice.
