Dr Shadan Abdulazeez Mohammed graduated in 1984 from the College of Medicine in Mosul, Iraq, receiving her Diploma in Gynecology & Obstetrics in 1991 from Baghdad University, Iraq. Then in 1999, joined The Arab Board in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Damascus, and by 2008, her Diploma in Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the Ian Donald Inter-University School of Medical Ultrasound, Dubai, UAE.
Dr Shadan Abdulazeez Mohammed began her career in 1984 with a 12-month internship at Mosul Teaching Hospitals working in Gyn & Obstetrics, Surgery, Medicine, Pediatrics, Urology, Cardiology and Neurology. In 1985, worked as a GP in the Mosul Governorate territory as part of a medical training program for two years. In 1987, had become a senior house officer in Gyn & Obst at Mosul Teaching Hospitals and continued for 4 years, becoming a Specialist Registrar in Obstetrics & Gyn by 1991 and performing research on post-menopausal bleeding for 2 years. In 1993, she became a Specialist in Gyn & Obstetrics at Mosul Teaching Hosp as well as in a private clinic for another 2 years. In 1995 she worked as a Specialist in Gyn & Obstetrics in Al-Hureibi and Al-Jelani Hospitals, Sana'a, Yemen for 12 months.
By 1999, she had attended the clinical and scientific preparation for the Arab board final examination in the department of Obstetrics & Gyn in Al Baraha and Dubai Hospital Hospital, Dubai, UAE. In 1999, she also attended courses and workshops on ‘colposcopy and Cervical Pathology' organized by the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP).
In 2000, she became a Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Ministry of Health Al Baraha Hospital, Dubai for 2 years, and in 2002 at Al-Sarraf Medical Center, Sharjah for 4 years.
In 2006, she became a Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics of her own fully equipped clinic, Uptodate Medicare Center, in Dubai, undertaking Obstetrics & Gyn procedures as well as Operations in 4 big Private Hospitals in Dubai (Al-Dawli Modern International Hosp, Belhoul European Hosp, Belhoul Specialty Hosp, and The Canadian Hosp), as well as in Al-Zahra Hosp and Central Private Hosp in Sharjah.
In April 2020 she joined Laser Medical Center as a Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics, in Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE
