Dr Youn is an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon who completed surgical training in New Zealand. Dr Youn became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2018 and pursued a passion for shoulder and elbow surgery by completing two fellowships. The first fellowship, with Dr Ed Bateman in New South Wales, focused on shoulder, elbow, and trauma surgery. The second year was spent in Seoul, studying under Prof Yong Girl Rhee, where Dr Youn continued to hone skills in shoulder surgery.
Dr Youn's expertise in shoulder surgery has led to running a complex shoulder clinic monthly, where patients receive compassionate care and surgical skills. In addition to clinical work, Dr Youn has a keen interest in research and has published numerous papers in major journals.
Dr Youn is also actively involved in teaching and training orthopaedic trainees and has a reputation for being an excellent educator. Dr Youn's dedication to patients and the profession is evident through a commitment to ongoing learning and training.
