Dr Sean McAuley is a general dental practitioner working at Clandeboye Dental Clinic in Bangor, Co. Down. He qualified with a BDS dental degree from Queen's University Belfast in 2013. The aim of his work is to give every one of his patients a smile that they can be happy with and a smile they can feel confident in. He is a keen believer in connecting with patients to fully understand their individual needs and tailor the treatment plan to their unique treatment desires.
Dr McAuley enjoys all aspects of dentistry but is particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry and adult orthodontic treatments.For this, he has undertaken courses aimed at improving communication so that patients can feel less nervous and so that he can best understand and deliver the patient's wishes. In addition to these courses, he has also undertaken several hundred hours of continual professional development to enhance his clinical skills and to keep up with the latest developments in the world of dentistry. He has trained with the IAS academy and is certified in carrying out adult orthodontics using the Inman aligner. He is further certified with Invisalign to straighten teeth with invisible braces.
Dr McAuley has been taught by world renowned cosmetic dentists in the art of composite bonding and veneers. This allows him to enhance his patient's smiles in a minimally invasive way. He has also been trained in advanced facial aesthetics treatments including dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections.
