Dr Sawsan Albatati is a Consultant in Paediatric Nephrology. She is dedicated to providing specialised and value-based healthcare services to her patients. Dr Albatati is committed to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes through innovation, training, and research.
Dr Albatati has a particular interest in public health and epidemiology, focusing on raising community awareness about paediatric kidney diseases. She is passionate about educating the public on chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and kidney transplantation in children to improve understanding and early detection.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Albatati has held leadership roles in several Saudi and international organisations and committees. She was the first Director of the General Paediatrics Fellowship Programme at the second health cluster and is recognised as the first Consultant specialising in paediatric nephrology and kidney transplantation in Saudi Arabia. Dr Albatati also serves as the Head of the Chronic Kidney Disease and Pre-transplant Programme.
