Over the years, he has gained extensive experience across all aspects of orthopaedic surgery, and in recent years has dedicated his practice solely to hip and knee replacement surgery.
He has a specialist interest in enhanced recovery pathways and day-case joint replacement surgery, enabling patients to benefit from faster rehabilitation, reduced pain and quicker return to independence. Mr Salih performs surgery using implants and techniques with strong evidence-based outcomes and proven long-term performance.
Following completion of his CCT, he undertook advanced fellowship training in revision joint replacement, complex primary hip and knee arthroplasty, and robotic-assisted joint replacement using the Stryker MAKO system.
Known for his calm, thoughtful and patient-centred approach, Mr Salih places great emphasis on shared decision-making.
