Dr. Samantha Thompson qualified as a dentist in 1987 from Sheffield, and in 1993 she established her own practice. She has also continued her professional development by completing additional training in facial aesthetics to complement her practice. Following the completion of a variety of training courses with Cosmetology Aesthetic Medical Training, Dr. Thompson started offering facial aesthetic treatments in 2010. Since then Samantha has attended other courses with different training organisations, including those run by Dr Brian Franks, to further advance her aesthetic skills, creating excellent outcomes for her patients.
In 2012, Dr. Thompson undertook an MSc course in Non Surgical Facial Aesthetics offered only by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). The subsequently published government commissioned Keogh report which highlighted the need for this level of training has reinforced her desire to bring more professionalism into the area of cosmetic treatment.
In 2013 Dr. Thompson achieved her Diploma in Non Surgical Facial Aesthetics (NSFA) and in 2015 was awarded her Masters Degree in Non Surgical Facial Aesthetics, making her then one of only a handful of aesthetic clinicians in Europe to have achieved this level of qualification.
Dr. Thompson is currently principal dentist at Hasland Dental Practice in Chesterfield, where she continues her practice in dentistry as well as facial aesthetics.
