About Mr Sam Jonas
Mr Sam Jonas is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in knee replacement and hip replacement. He performs a full range of procedures, including primary total and partial knee replacements, primary hip replacements and has a particular interest in the revision of complex or problematic total knee replacements. Mr Jonas currently works in a high-volume NHS orthopaedic department and is part of a regional network that manages complex knee replacement cases referred from across the area. His clinical practice focuses on restoring function, relieving pain, and helping patients return to their everyday activities as safely and efficiently as possible. He completed his orthopaedic training in Bristol on the prestigious Severn Deanery rotation, followed by specialist fellowships in complex knee surgery in Cardiff and Exeter and complex hip surgery in Exeter. This advanced training provided extensive experience to provide the latest and best proven techniques. Mr Jonas offers robotic Mako arm assisted joint replacement at the Nuffield hospital in Bristol. Mr Jonas is committed to providing individualised, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs. His professional interests include lower limb reconstruction, joint preservation, and improving outcomes for patients undergoing knee replacement surgery.
