Dr Rudy Sinharay is a Consultant Respiratory Physician who specialises in the management of a broad range of respiratory conditions. His clinical expertise includes lung cancer, cough, asthma, COPD, pleural diseases, and breathlessness. He is highly experienced in performing advanced diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), and various pleural interventions.

He completed his specialist training in respiratory and general internal medicine in London, gaining extensive experience at major teaching hospitals such as St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, and University College London Hospital. Before taking on a consultant role at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare Trust in 2019, Dr. Sinharay worked as a consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr. Sinharay holds an MD(res) from Imperial College London for his research conducted at the Royal Brompton Hospital, which explored the impact of air pollution on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and ischaemic heart disease. He continues to contribute to academia as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London.
