In 2010, Dr Barnard expanded her horizons as a senior ship’s physician, travelling globally and working with diverse patient populations. She later joined a global assistance company, delivering medical care to expatriates in remote regions, further honing her adaptability and cultural sensitivity.
Since 2018, Dr Barnard has been based in County Cork, Ireland, where she combines her work in general practice with a special interest in psychiatry. Her focus on ADHD treatment and management is complemented by her rich background in psychiatry and international medical practice.
