He received training in laparoscopic bariatric surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and did advanced laparoscopic training in Greece before completing a fellowship in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery in Japan. In addition to his expertise with bariatric procedures, he is also well-versed in minimal access surgeries for hernia, gallbladder removal, and varicose veins procedures. Dr. Kumar's patients include dignitaries, leaders, and foreign nationals amongst others leader because of his deep expertise in gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery.
With his involvement in Fellowships as well as his Heading up Surgical Departments at renowned hospitals, Dr. Kumar displays plenty of expertise in his field, which also drives him forward toward learning more about different topics.
