About Dr Dr Richard Barton
Dr Richard Barton is a Melbourne Specialist Plastic Surgeon with particular expertise in facial aesthetic surgery, including facelift, neck lift, brow lift, blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty. His practice also includes breast and body surgery, including post-weight-loss body contouring and gender-affirming surgery. He completed his plastic surgery training in Melbourne before undertaking dual international fellowship training in microsurgical reconstruction and adult craniomaxillofacial surgery. Alongside private practice, he maintains a strong commitment to public health as Director of Head and Neck Cancer Surgery at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he leads Victoria's largest head and neck cancer service and its multidisciplinary team. He is known for a calm, thoughtful approach and for taking the time to ensure patients feel well informed, listened to and genuinely supported throughout their care.
