About

Ms Renata Sena is a Human Biomechanics Specialist and Physical Education professional based at Functional Patterns Dublin. With over 15 years of experience as a Strength & Conditioning Coach , a Master’s degree in Dispute Resolution , and specialized postgraduate training from InCor (Heart Institute, University of São Paulo Medical School) , she bridges the gap from rehabilitation to high performance.

As an experienced sports director and health consultant , Renata builds her practice on a precise, evidence-based methodology. Her focus is entirely on identifying and treating the root cause of physical dysfunction so clients can truly reclaim control over their bodies, live pain-free, and move with confidence.

How I Help You

Renata specialises in correcting biomechanical imbalances, structural breakdown, and movement limitations. She provides friendly, targeted solutions for four distinct profiles:

* Exercise Hesitation & Anxiety: For women who dislike, fear, or feel intimidated by traditional gyms, or simply don't know how to start exercising. Supported by her elite InCor training with clinical populations, Renata provides a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment to build physical confidence completely outside of typical gym pressure.

* Pelvic & Core Dysfunction (Men & Women): Resolving pelvic floor issues, instability, and deep core weakness through targeted pressure regulation, functional alignment, and proper breathing mechanics.

* Chronic Pain & Injury Rehabilitation: Moving away from temporary, passive relief into true physical freedom by correcting how the body moves as an integrated, dynamic system.

* CrossFit & Weightlifting Transition: For athletes and lifters suffering from the repetitive heavy loading, joint strain, or chronic aches of these sports. Instead of pushing you back into harmful or broken mechanics, Renata uses her deep background in high-performance coaching to help you transition into healthier, biomechanically sound movement, correcting the posture and structural damage caused by your athletic past.

A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt and boxing practitioner, Renata is a true sports enthusiast who also enjoys surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and football. She applies the same precision, resilience, and passion for movement into her clinical practice.

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
