Ms. Rehana Sadia is an accomplished Ophthalmology Consultant at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. She has a special interest in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and adult cataracts. Ms. Sadia joined Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in 2015, where she has contributed significantly to the field of ophthalmology.
Ms. Sadia graduated from the University of Punjab, Pakistan, in 2003. She then completed her postgraduate ophthalmology training at Mayo Hospital, a prestigious university hospital in Lahore, in 2012. Following this, she pursued a dedicated 2-year fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Mayo Hospital, where she gained expertise in areas such as congenital cataract surgery, congenital glaucoma, retinoblastoma, and strabismus.
In addition to her clinical practice, Ms. Sadia has a strong commitment to medical education. She currently serves as the pediatric ophthalmology editor for INSPIRE, a new online learning platform launched by the Royal College of Ophthalmology, London. She also actively participates in departmental and regional training and is the lead for the MREH Pharmacy Sub-Committee.
Ms. Sadia is passionate about global education and regularly participates in postgraduate ophthalmology teaching in Pakistan, sharing her expertise and knowledge with the next generation of ophthalmologists.
