Dr Randa completed her undergraduate medical training at Tanta University in Egypt, graduating with a degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2002. She went on to earn her Master’s in Paediatrics from Benha University in 2011, Egyptian Fellowship in 2015, and was later awarded Arab Board Certification in Paediatrics. Her expertise includes managing complex paediatric oncology protocols, administering chemotherapy, and performing advanced procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and intrathecal therapy.
Her clinical interests include the management of thalassaemia, anaemia, and solid tumour protocols. In addition, Dr Randa has extensive experience working in neonatal intensive care units (NICU), where she has performed a wide range of procedures including endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, blood transfusions, and central vascular access.
Earlier in her career, she worked in multiple paediatric and neonatal departments in Egypt, including Benha Children’s Hospital and Tanta University Hospital. She also held a specialist position in PICU and NICU at Al Gedaani Hospital in Saudi Arabia.
