About Dr Rajeeva Singh
Dr Rajeeva Singh is an experienced consultant paediatrician and honorary senior lecturer, University of Leeds. He is lead for Paediatric Epilepsy at Mid Yorkshire Hospital in Dewsbury where he treats infants, children and adolescents. Dr Singh initially trained in India and was awarded the University Gold Medal in Medicine for the best graduate in Medicine. Dr Singh completed his Masters in Paediatrics, (MD Paediatrics & Diplomate of National Board. In the UK, trained at Sheffield Childrens Hospital, North Trent rotation. He cleared MRCP within months of coming to the UK and was awarded MRCPCH in 2001, now a fellow of the college with honorary FRCPCH. He has also completed a Diploma in Childhood Neurodisability, Sheffield Hallam University. He runs general paediatrics and dedicated epilepsy, neuromuscular disorder & neurodevelopmental clinics. He trained in paediatric neurology at Sheffield Children's Hospital. Dr Singh is Paediatric Epilepsy Training (PET) Level 1 course director and trainer, directs courses run alternate years at the Dewsbury hospital. He has taken the role of Yorkshire Paediatric Epilepsy Training Coordinator, remit of British Paediatric Neurology Association (BPNA). Dr Singh has been associated with RCPCH, as a council member between 2015 and 2020 and as Royal College of Paediatric & Child Health Officer for the North East of England. He is Senior Examiner for RCPCH and climate committee member.
