His contributions to the field of spine surgery have earned him numerous accolades, including the Ronald Raven Barber Award for oncological surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, the Codman Travelling Fellowship, and a scholarship to study spine surgery at the esteemed University of California San Francisco Department of Spinal Surgery.
