Dr Saklani is a cardiologist with a special clinical interest in cardiac rhythm disorders. Dr Saklani graduated with Honours from the University of Western Australia. They trained at Sir Charles Gairdner and Fremantle hospitals, attaining qualification as a specialist cardiologist. Dr Saklani undertook a further 2 years of sub-speciality training in clinical electrophysiology and cardiac pacing at University Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada.
Dr Saklani is trained to perform complex ablations of diverse arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation. Their other interests include implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac re-synchronisation devices as well as the diagnosis and management of hereditary rhythm disorders.
