She is also a member of the Multidisciplinary Kawasaki team and the recently described Multi Inflammatory syndrome at ELCH which is unique in the country and leading in the cardiologysection of it. Dr. Theocharis is also a keen researcher, and her extensivescientific background supports her to provide up-to-date, evidence-based care

Dr. Theocharis specialized in Paediatrics and obtained her Ph.D. in Greece, followed by her extensive Paediatric Cardiologytraining in the UK. Her interest in research began early on in her career and, resulting in her publishing numerous articles and book chapters in paediatric
cardiology, echocardiography, early stages of atherosclerosis from childhood,
pulmonary hypertension, MIS-C and neonatology.
