Mr Paolo Bosco is an experienced Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with over 13 years of clinical practice. He is currently based at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and sees private patients at The Harley Street Clinic and London Bridge Hospital. He completed his medical degree at the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2002 followed by his specialist diploma in cardiac surgery from the University of Catania, Italy, in 2010.
Mr Bosco worked in several University Hospitals in Italy before moving to UK in 2008. He further expanded his interest in valve repair completing a fellowship in mitral valve surgery at the Royal Papworth Hospital.
Mr Bosco has specialist expertise in a wide range of cardiac surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair or replacement, minimally invasive heart surgery, compex high risk redo surgery, cardiac resynchronisation therapy and the management of arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat).
Mr Bosco worked in several University Hospitals in Italy before moving to UK in 2008. He further expanded his interest in valve repair completing a fellowship in mitral valve surgery at the Royal Papworth Hospital.
