Dr Vartzioti’'s expertise spans a wide range of respiratory conditions, including Obstructive Lung Diseases such as Asthma and COPD, bronchiectasis, allergies, respiratory infections, TB, ILDs, PVD pleural diseases, and SRBDs. Dr Vartzioti's experiences also include overseeing the treatment of a major respiratory outbreak, the H1N1 pandemic.
Over the past 15 years, Dr Vartzioti has been actively involved in both research and clinical practice, focusing on multiple areas of Pulmonary Medicine. She has collaborated with leading researchers as a co-investigator in clinical trials for conditions such as Asthma and COPD, contributing to advancements in treatment and patient care. Dr Vartzioti’'s commitment to excellence and continuous professional development has earned her the prestigious European Board Certification in adult Respiratory Medicine, along with the ERS HERMES Diploma.
Dr. Olga is a highly skilled and experienced pulmonologist specializing in a range of respiratory conditions providing comprehensive and long term care in both private and governmental hospitals spanning both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Before joining Mediclinic Dubai Mall, she worked in King's College Hospital London in Dubai, and at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as a Consultant Pulmonologist for 5 years.
In addition to her medical career, Dr Vartzioti has a personal interest in athletics, being a marathoner and trail runner herself. Her passion for sports and understanding of the challenges faced by athletes have fuelled her main interest in assessing and managing respiratory problems in athletic individuals. This unique perspective enables her to provide specialised care to athletes and long-distance runners, optimising their respiratory health and performance.
