Mr Nigel Gilderson

Mr. Nigel Gilderson is a Massage Therapist registered with the Federation of Holistic Therapists. His journey began as a P.E. teacher and tennis coach, where he first discovered his interest in the body’s biomechanics. Over the years, this curiosity deepened through years of practicing yoga and tai chi, shaping his unique approach to movement and bodywork. As the founder and director of Brockwell Lido Yoga for over 20 years, Nigel has led numerous classes and trained many local teachers through the Amrita School of Yoga. His guiding principle is to achieve the best results with minimal effort, a philosophy that forms the foundation of his work. Nigel’s expertise spans holistic massage, Thai/yoga massage therapies, and working in corporate well-being programmes, where he has supported teams in managing stress and promoting balance. More recently, his MA studies in Dance Movement Psychotherapy have explored the powerful connection between the mind and body—how our physical and emotional states influence each other and how we engage with the world around us. With his wealth of knowledge, care, and insight, Nigel helps clients move better, feel better, and live better, offering a comprehensive and mindful approach to physical well-being.
