About Dr Nick Thompson
Dr Nick Thompson is a Gastroenterologist. They have a special interest in clinical nutrition and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr Thompson completed an MD in the epidemiology of Crohn’s disease. They were a research fellow at the Royal Free Hospital. Dr Thompson has helped develop a regional Intestinal Failure service. They also helped to establish the Northern Nutrition Network. Dr Thompson has held the position of senior Secretary of the British Society of Gastroenterology. They have also been the Programme Director for the registrar training programme in the northern region. Dr Thompson is the current President at BAPEN.
