Dr Nezam Hasan is a Senior Physiotherapist with extensive clinical experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports physiotherapy and critical care physiotherapy. Based in Abu Dhabi, he has worked across a variety of healthcare settings, including multidisciplinary medical centres, hospital-based physiotherapy departments and elite sporting events.
He currently serves as Senior Physiotherapist at Adria Medical Centre, where he is responsible for patient assessment, treatment planning, rehabilitation management and team leadership. Prior to this, he worked at Yas Healthcare and has also provided specialist sports physiotherapy support during the 2019 AFC Asian Cup for the Palestine national football team.
Dr Hasan completed a Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy at Jamia Hamdard University, where his research focused on complex training and shoulder performance in collegiate basketball players. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
His clinical expertise includes sports injury rehabilitation, manual therapy, dry needling, dry cupping, myofascial release, Schroth therapy and advanced rehabilitation techniques. He has significant experience managing patients in ICU, SICU, PICU and cardiothoracic rehabilitation settings.
