Dr Muraleedharan Kurunkattil Balakrishnan is a practitioner of homeopathy. A system of alternative medicine, homeopathy operates under the belief that "like cures like." This means that a substance that can cause symptoms in a healthy individual can, in a diluted form, treat similar symptoms in someone who is unwell.
