About
He graduated from Nishtar Medical College and completed his surgical fellowship with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan before moving to the UK to pursue advanced training in gastrointestinal surgery. He undertook a laparoscopic colorectal fellowship at Warwick Hospital and completed further advanced laparoscopic training in Strasbourg, France.
His clinical practice includes laparoscopic colorectal surgery for both malignant and benign conditions, proctology procedures such as treatment for haemorrhoids, anal fissures and fistulae, and management of pelvic floor disorders. He also performs laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repair, emergency general surgery, and both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Mr Aslam is an accredited colonoscopist within the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP) and performs advanced endoscopic procedures, including polypectomy for large and complex colorectal polyps.
