Dr Muftah Shagmani graduated with his BDS from Ajman University, United Arab Emirates, in 2008. He worked in clinics in the UAE, gaining experience and improving his skills. Dr Shagmani then moved to the UK where he trained at the Royal London Hospital Dental Institute; he graduated in 2016 with an MClinDent qualification, specialising in Orthodontics.
Dr Shagmani then went on to complete his MOrth from the Royal College of Surgeons in England one year later. Muftah utilised the knowledge he had gained from his postgraduate studies and secured a position as a Specialty Doctor in Orthodontics, seeing patients and expanding his skills at Whipps Cross Hospital and the Royal London Hospital.
As an active member of the British and the European Orthodontic societies, Dr Shagmani is always keen to be informed of the latest treatment options, regularly attending conferences. His special interest and years of practice and postgraduate qualifications in orthodontics allows him to provide the best treatment for his patients, offering more contemporary orthodontic treatments such as ceramic brace and Invisalign clear aligners.
